LEEK United confirms former BML CEO Andrew Healy as their new CEO

LEEK United has announced the appointment of Andrew Healy as the Society’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Andrew Healy was born in Dublin, Ireland who holds a first class Master’s degree in Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in financial services. He is a Chartered Member of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development while also being a member of the Institute of Banking in Ireland.

He started his career with Natwest and has worked in senior roles in both Europe and Asia. He is a former chairman of the Northern Ireland Banking Association while currently being a board director of the Asian Banking Association. The chairman of LEEK United outlined that they are delighted to appoint Andrew Healy as the new CEO as he shares their commitment to mutual values with excellent customer service while his leadership, financial and commercial expertise will ensure the company to achieve success in future.

Andrew Healy has been the CEO and Managing Director of the Bank of Maldives since 2014. He has over 25 years experience in financial services including over 10 years at CEO and board level. During his time, Bank of Maldives has seen consistent improvements in profitability, risk standards and customer satisfaction whereby receiving awards for innovation, progressive HR practices and investment in communities.
