MACL Honours its Long Service Employees

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has held the Service Recognition Awards function honouring a total of 145 employees, for their devotion and loyalty after completing 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of continuous service to the company.

At the function held on Saturday night at Dharubaaruge, 145 employees were honoured for their long service. At the ceremony, 41 MACL employees with over 20 years of service, 68 with over 25 years, and 16 with over 30 years received awards. Additionally, 15 employees with over 35 years of service and 5 with over 40 years received awards.

A significant number of employees received awards for their long-time commitment which is an achievement not only for the dedicated employees but also for the company. Hence, MACL states that it is extremely fortunate to have employees who have contributed to company’s success through their many years of dedicated and committed service.

Addressing the ceremony CEO and Managing Director of MACL Mr. Mahjoob Shujau said, “Many are joining the aviation industry inspired by your work. This may not only be your contribution of service to MACL but a contribution to take the country’s younger generation on the right path.” Referring to the service enhancement and infrastructural development of VIA, Mahjoob emphasized it is his desire that during this change, everyone should make the best use of their expertise and bring positive changes to the company.

MACL is one the largest employer in the Maldives with more than 3,500 employees working diligently in various aspects of the company, the company has always prioritized the welfare and benefits of its employees.
