The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has awarded a year-end bonus to all employees who worked throughout 2023, reflecting the company’s recognition of their continued dedication and contributions. This gesture comes as a testament to MACL’s appreciation for its workforce, ensuring that their efforts in navigating a challenging year are duly rewarded.
Employees with a minimum of six months’ service also received a pro-rata share of the bonus, ensuring that the distribution remains fair and reflective of individual tenure within the company. This approach underlines MACL’s commitment to equitable treatment for all its staff.
Despite the global economic difficulties faced during the year, MACL has successfully maintained its financial stability, allowing it to continue its tradition of rewarding employees. As one of the highest revenue-generating state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the Maldives, MACL’s ability to distribute bonuses highlights the company’s solid financial health.
By consistently investing in its workforce, MACL strengthens employee motivation and commitment, ensuring exceptional service delivery at the Maldives’ primary air gateway, Velana International Airport. This focus on staff welfare positions MACL as a leading example of financial resilience and employee support within the country’s SOEs.
