Maldives Ambassador to the United Kingdom (UK), Dr. Farahanaz Faisal has signed a Global Pledge on Media Freedom on 11th July 2019.
The Global Pledge on Media Freedom calls out to speak out and take action on the importance of media freedom for the safety of the society.
The pledge also encourages governments to strengthen relationships within the media community in the respective countries for a better future for media.
The Global Conference for Media Freedom saw several important attendees such as Ambassadors, Designated Individuals and Journalists from all around the world.
