Maldives Investment Forum ready to kick off

The Maldives Investment Forum will begin tomorrow with over 400 companies participating from both Maldives and India.

Speaking to press, Economic Executive Coordinator stated that with 400 companies taking part, the roster includes major Indian companies as well. “Many noteworthy companies have registered and more are expected to register as the process is still open” he added.

The Forum is to be held at the Tag Hotel in New Delhi on the 21st and 22nd of November. The first day consists of a gala dinner night with the second day being the official networking and conferencing of the event. Senior members of staff from Maldivian companies and Indian companies would take part in the event.

Vice president Abdulla Jihad will be leading the 200 companies participating from the Maldives with the Indian Economic Minister heading the Indian group of companies. The Forum is held in conjunction with the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICI).
