The Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Republic of Serbia concluded the signing of key agreements on 9th March during the ongoing visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid to the Republic of Serbia.
The agreements signed between the Government of Maldives and the Government of the Republic of Serbia include:
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Trade, Investment and Economic Cooperation
- Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Republic of Serbia
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives on Cooperation in the field of Diplomatic Education
- Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Sports between the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment of the Republic of Maldives and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Serbia
The conclusion of the agreements today will not only increase the cooperation in areas such as sports, trade, and people to people connection, but it is also a testament to the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.
