Maldives Strengthens Tourism Presence at SATTE 2024

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), also known as Visit Maldives, along with 57 representatives from 34 Maldivian tourism companies, are participating in SATTE 2024. This major travel trade event is being held at India Expo Mart, Delhi, from February 22nd to 24th.

SATTE, a leading South Asian travel and tourism networking platform, provides an opportunity for Visit Maldives to highlight the Maldives as an ideal short-haul destination for Indian travellers, emphasizing its natural beauty and diverse experiences. The Maldives stand offers a venue for industry leaders and travel trade partners to connect and discuss the latest destination updates, product offerings, and unique Maldivian tourism experiences.

India was the leading source market for the Maldives in 2023, accounting for 14.4% of total arrivals. MMPRC is committed to sustained marketing efforts within the Indian market throughout 2024 to solidify the Maldives’ position as a preferred destination for Indian travellers further.
