Maldives Upholds its Title as World’s Best Spa Destination

The Maldives wins the prestigious position again as the “World’s Best Spa Destination “at the 4th annual World Spa Awards held at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort on 26th October. The event was attended by hundreds of industry leaders from across the region and around the globe.

Maldives competed against other world-class destinations such as Thailand, Hawaii, Mauritius, Australia, Seychelles, USA and UAE for these titles.  In addition to the destination awards, the Maldives Tourism Industry also won prestigious awards in various categories during the event.

World Spa Awards™ is a dynamic awards programme, launched in 2015 and designed to drive up standards within spa tourism by rewarding the organisations that are the leaders in the field.
