Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced a new service enhancement for its domestic passengers: the option to book lounge access along with their flight tickets. This new feature aims to provide travellers with a more comfortable and relaxing experience while they wait for their flights.
Maldivian’s lounges are designed to offer an array of amenities to enhance the pre-flight experience. Passengers can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, a variety of food and beverage options, comfortable seating, and private shower rooms available in selected lounges. These facilities provide an ideal environment for passengers to unwind with light snacks, catch up on news, and enjoy various TV channels in a tranquil setting.
The lounge services are available at the following locations:
• Moonimaa Lounge: Located at the Domestic Terminal of Velana International Airport.
• Kashimaa Lounge: Situated at Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport.
• Kaani Lounge: Available at Ifuru Domestic Airport.
Booking lounge access is straightforward and can be done up to four hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers can make their bookings through Maldivian’s call centre, ticketing office, Viber, or any authorised sales agents.
