Maldivian passport has been chosen as the most secure passport out of all the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries.
Maldives also secured a global position of 62 while the top of the list was occupied by Japan and Singapore.
Henley Index also stated that Maldives offers free-on arrival to 84 countries. This is comparably much higher than India with 58 countries and Sri Lanka, with 42 countries.
Other neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan are at the respective positions of 101, 102 and 106.
