Maldivian has scheduled repatriation flights to send back citizens of Thailand in the Maldives, who has been unable to return to their country amidst the lockdown.
In a tweet by the airline, they have confirmed that a repatriation flight has already left for Bangkok with 55 citizens of Thailand and care packages to Maldivians.
Maldivian has also revealed that 2 more repatriations to Thailand are scheduled to repatriate expatriate workers of Thailand and tourist who has been unable to return to their country due to lockdown.
Maldivian has temporarily suspended all the domestic flights as the Male’ city has come to a state of lockdown.
