Maldivian has signed as the official airline partner for Neyvaa 2, a new world record attempt organized by Freedive Maldives.
The agreement was signed by Aishath Jennifer – Deputy Managing Director on behalf of Maldivian and Hawwa Naufa Nizam – PR Manager on behalf of Freedive Maldives.
This record-breaking attempt will feature the most number of people performing static apnea simultaneously. Organized to commemorate Golden Jubilee – 50 years of tourism in the Maldives, this event will promote the passion for free driving and highlight Maldives on the map for free divers worldwide. Neyvaa 2 will execute static apnea as a group performance from all over the Maldives with multiple locations across the archipelago at the given time.
Maldivian is the leading domestic carrier in the Maldives and currently operates to India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia and China from its main hub at Velana International Airport. The nation’s carrier today operates daily frequent flights to 16 airports within the country and offers competitive air transfers to all resorts in the Maldives.
Participant registrations are now open for the event and all those who wish to register from the participating resorts for the event can now start the registrations by contacting the resort HR departments.
