Marriott International Appoints Brigitta Balsai as Market Account Director, Sales – Maldives

Marriott International announced the appointment of Brigitta Balsai as the Market Account Director, Sales for its Maldives Sales & Marketing Cluster. With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in sales and marketing within the tourism industry, Brigitta brings invaluable expertise to the team.

Having served with excellence in her most recent role at Marriott International’s Global Sales EMEA team, Brigitta demonstrated exceptional leadership while overseeing 12 countries in the South East European region. Her strong affinity for the hospitality segment and extensive experience with diverse hotel chains make her a perfect fit for the Maldives Market Team.

In her new capacity, Brigitta will be responsible for driving sales primarily from the European markets for four of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of resorts in the Maldives including JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, W Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, and The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.

Academically accomplished, Brigitta holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Economics, a B.B.A. Degree in European Service Business Management, and a B.A. Degree in Marketing Communications. Beyond her professional achievements, Brigitta is an avid member of the Hungarian Golfing Federation, embracing her passion for golf. Additionally, she cherishes moments of travel, explores fine dining experiences, and actively engages in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
