The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has begun a digital marketing training program exclusive for the travel industry, themed under ‘Social-media Marketing and Online Branding’.
The first phase of the program took place on 10th July at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies.
This training program is organized by MATATO in partnership with McQuire Rens & Jones featuring a popular portfolio of corporate training programs.
35 travel professionals are taking part in this program, representing resorts, guesthouses, and travel agencies.
The second event is scheduled for 11th July 2019 and will feature a discussion on Customer Complaint Handling.
Both training programs are being conducted in Male’.
MATATO training initiatives are intended to develop human capacity and skill in the tourism industry and are mainly targeted for the hospitality sector.
