The Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) has announced the upcoming second edition of MATI Insight, set to be a specialised masterclass in strategy by renowned strategist Mark Pollard. Scheduled for 17 November 2024, the session will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crossroads Maldives.
Titled “Sweathead Masterclass: Strategy is your Words,” the event will guide attendees through a comprehensive framework for developing effective marketing strategies. Pollard, known for his work with leading brands such as The Economist, Electronic Arts, and Wall Street Journal, will share his expertise on key areas essential to impactful brand communication.
Participants can expect to gain practical knowledge on Pollard’s Four Points Framework, with a focus on generating insights, structuring strategies, and crafting compelling creative briefs. Attendees will have the chance to engage in over ten exercises, applying these concepts directly to real-world brand scenarios.
The masterclass is priced at MVR 2,313 (USD 150) for MATI members, with a fee of MVR 4,626 (USD 300) for non-members. Those interested can register by completing the form here.

The initiative’s thematic focus spans revenue, branding, environmental stewardship, human capital development, and technological innovation, supporting sustainable growth in the industry.
