Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has decided to distribute dividends of MVR 1.2 per share to its shareholders.
MIB’s board of directors made the decision on the board meeting held on 25th April. According to the board’s decision, MVR 27.5 million of the bank’s profit will be distributed. The company’s profit fell last year due to economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year, the company has decided to distribute dividends of MVR 1.58 per share.
MIB was turned into a public company in 2019. The company has sold MVR 244 million worth of shares.
