Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Mr. Ahmed Mahloof has inaugurated the 9th edition of the Surfing Championship Trophy at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa on 5th of August.
Surfing Championship Trophy hosted by Four Seasons Kuda Huraa is the most luxurious surfing event that takes place in the Maldives. The event will commence from 5th to 12th of August.
Fellow surfers including last year’s champion, surf celebrity Josh Kerr, Matt Wilkinson, Joel Parkinson, Mohamed “Pele’” Fayaz, Kai Lenny are expected to take part in this event.
Josh Kerr has stated that he will defend his title in this year’s Surfing Champions Trophy similar to last year.
