Minister of Tourism Honorable Ali Waheed is making an official visit to several islands of HDh. and Ha. Alif atoll. He will be visiting the islands between 7th February to 9th February.
He will be making trips to HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, HA. Kelaa, HDh, Hanimaadhoo and HA. Dhiddhoo during this visit. The Minister will work to recognize the hurdles faced in tourism in the inhabited islands in Maldives and meet with the atoll councils and island councils along with stakeholders in the tourism industry to discuss ways to expand tourism in the respective islands.
The aforementioned visit is part of a sequence of visits made by the Minister to identify obstacles faced by those working to promote tourism in the inhabited islands of Maldives. He has already visited Addu City and Fuvahmulah City for these purposes and is expected to visit more islands in the future.
