Running from April 23 to June 22, this initiative aims to assist taxpayers who must file income tax returns for 2023 and have a total income of MVR 10 million or less.
The program will offer assistance through various channels, including telephone, email, and other online means. Taxable income under the Income Tax Act encompasses a wide range of earnings, including business income, wages, and other sources, as outlined in Article 10. Therefore, individuals and entities falling within the specified income bracket are encouraged to avail themselves of this support to ensure accurate and timely filing of their tax returns.
