Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has donated MVR 565,000 to two Palestinian relief funds. This donation is a joint contribution from MPL as an organisation and its employees.
The funds have been allocated to the Palestine Relief Fund, operated by the Maldives Red Crescent (MRC), and the Gaza Emergency Relief Fund, administered by the International Aid Campaign (IAC).
The donation from MPL and its employees is intended to support the Palestinian people affected by recent events in Gaza.
Additionally, MPL plans to establish collection boxes across its facilities to facilitate further contributions to Palestinian relief efforts.
MPL and its employees have expressed their commitment to providing full support for various activities in the Maldives aimed at securing additional assistance for the Palestinian population.
