Maldives Ports Limited’s (MPL) statistics reveal that they successfully cleared 1,616 TEUs of cargo from the 3rd of November to the 9th of November.
The company disclosed that out of the total cleared containers, 746 were 20-foot units, whilst 435 were 40-foot units.
During the same period, thirteen vessels arrived at Male’ Commercial Harbour. This comprised six container vessels and seven general cargo vessels. The company managed the loading and unloading of 1,263 TEUs, equivalent to 924 containers.
MPL’s data highlighted the types of perishables processed during the week. These included a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as cabbage, coconut, pumpkin, banana, rock melon, brinjal, potato, and eggs.
