Maldives Ports Limited’s (MPL) statistics reveal that they successfully cleared 1,350 TEUs of cargo from the 10th of November to the 16th of November.
The company disclosed that out of the total cleared containers, 558 were 20-foot units, whilst 396 were 40-foot units.
During the same period, thirteen vessels arrived at Male’ Commercial Harbour. This comprised six container vessels and seven general cargo vessels. The company managed the loading and unloading 1,179 TEUs, equivalent to 854 containers.
MPL’s data highlighted the types of perishables processed during the week. These included a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon, potato, sweet corn, banana, bottle gourd, brinjal, pineapple, and eggs.
