Mr.Ahmed Athif, has been appointed as the Managing Director of HDC.
Mr. Ahmed Athif was working as the Deputy Managing Director of HDC since 6th of March 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree (honors) in Accounting from University of Hertfordshire in Malaysia. With over 10 years of experience in his field, Mr. Athif has worked in the private sector, as well as the public sector including Bank of Maldives and Maldives Monetary Authority.
Mr. Athif has been actively working in consultancy and Advisory and special interest on Entrepreneurship development. He worked as registered Auditor and Tax agent in private practice before his appointment to the position of Deputy Managing Director.
Mr.Ahmed Athif was part of the major transformation of HDC and was tasked with providing social housing, which is now undertaken by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation. HDC will be continuing the key development projects such as Thilafushi and Gulhifalhu, working very closely with the administration to achieve government strategic goals. Ahmed Athif ensures that people will see major changes in the work done by HDC as they continue to achieve their goals.
