“Professional and Career Women Awards 2019” by Women in Management – Maldives (WIM) has chosen Ms. Mariyam Waheeda as the Woman of the Year.
She was presented with her certificate and honorary shield by the judges of the award, President of WIM Maldives, Ms. Minha Faiz and WIM’s Chairperson.
Ms. Mariyam Waheeda has worked in several positions in the government for over 42 years. She has worked as the commissioner of girl guide, a journalist of Haveeru news and presented a health-related program of 100 episodes.
This year, over 29 women and 2 companies were awarded during the Awards. 2019 marks the second edition of “Professional and Career Women Awards”.
