Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that changes to some of its inter-atoll ferry schedules are highly likely, due to stormy weather forecasted for the coming 5 days.
Maldives Meteorology Service has stated that wind speeds may rise to 55 nautical miles per hour, and seas will be very rough. As such, MTCC has announced that the schedule of some of its ferries are likely to change.
Hence, those that are looking to send goods between islands should confirm the ferry schedule changes with the respective island council.
