Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced physical works of Adh. Mandhoo Harbor Development Project on 15th December 2021.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 65,854cbm; the construction of a 236m quay wall; a 319m breakwater; a 71m revetment; a 50m groynes. Additionally, the installation of harbor streetlights, navigational aids and construction of 1180sqm of paved area will also be undertaken.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 34.1 million.
