Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that it has commenced installation of precast concrete blocks for the construction of quay wall of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbor on 27th July 2021.
MTCC has also completed dredging operations of the new harbor basin.
Scope of works involve dredging and excavation operations of 40,576cbm; construction of a 376m breakwater; a 98m quay wall; installation of 1,150 sqm paved area and installation of streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 31.6 million.
