MTCC Expands Free Travel Concessions for Higher Education Students

Under this initiative, students attending colleges and universities can avail themselves of complimentary transit services by presenting their valid student ID cards.

Currently, MTCC already provides free transit services to specific demographic groups, including individuals aged 65 and above and children under three years old.

Additionally, those with disabilities can utilise the services free of charge using a card issued by the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA). Students, too, can ride for free if they are in their school uniforms.

MTCC has also extended its bus operations between Male’ City and Hulhumale’ to a 24-hour service. The company continues to operate minibus services in Male’ and Villimale’, along with bus services in Addu City and Fuvahmulah City.
