Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided updates on the completion of two projects.
Firstly, MTCC revealed that it completed R. Dhuvaafaru Road Construction Project (phase 1) on 14th February 2021.
Scope of works involve asphalt laying on 12 roads with a total length of 2.7km, a carriageway of 25,513sqm, a sidewalk of 6564sqm, installation of stormwater infiltration system, cable junctions, streetlights, construction of speed breakers, road markings and marking zebra crossing. The road construction project is valued at MVR 43.05 million.
Additionally, the company completed Ha. Dhihdhoo Shore Protection Project on 27th October 2021.
Scope of works for the project include construction of a 310m geo bag revetment to prevent coastal erosion. The value of the project is MVR 10.02 million.
