MTCC has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure towards K.Maafushi New Reclamation Connection Project.
CEO Adam Azim signed on behalf of MTCC and Ms. Zeeniya Hameed, Permanent Secretary signed on behalf of the Ministry on a ceremony held to mark the completion and handover of the K. Maafushi Reclamation & Shore Protection Project and K. Maafushi Picnic Island Reclamation & Shore Protection Project.
Scope of works includes 80m shore protection and construction of a 20m wide, 137.64m long bridge. The bridge construction work includes; concrete works, paving works, drainage, metal works, lighting and road marking. The value of the project is MVR 35.41 million and the project is to be completed within 365 days.
