Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has launched a brand new 35 horsepower Yanmar engine, ideal for small vessels.
According to MTCC official Shahim Shehenaz, the new engine is targeted towards fishing vessels and is ideal for small fishing dhonis and vessels. He also said that the aim of launching this new engine is to bring about positive changes to the Maldivian fishing industry, and that the engine will be available for retail purchase after MTCC has concluded their initial tests.
MTCC has also announced that this engine is available for pre-order now and that customers who pre-order this engine will get it at a special reduced price.
