MWSC announced that transformers and equipment required for power network upgrading has been delivered to the island of R. Dhuvaafaru. This new upgrade will assist to stabilize the grid and avoid power shortages during peak hours, especially in the month of Ramadan.

The transformers and equipment provision also comes after MWSC installed the 35kwP solar grid at R. Dhuvaafaru Bottling Factory enabling the total clean energy output to reach 83kWp at the island.
