Ooredoo Maldives has introduced Truecaller Premium subscriptions through its mobile billing platform as part of a series of offers to mark its 21st anniversary on 1 August.
The service allows Ooredoo customers to subscribe without a separate payment method, with charges added directly to their Ooredoo account. Truecaller Premium includes expanded spam and scam protection, profile-view insights, Incognito Mode, contact requests, an ad-free service and a verification badge.
The operator will also introduce its ChildSafe Parental Control service for eligible 5G AirFibre customers. The service is intended to help parents manage home internet access and use parental-control settings on supported broadband devices. It will be available without charge during August.
Eligible prepaid and postpaid customers will be able to redeem a 21GB data pack through the Super Deals section of the Ooredoo Super App on 1 August. The pack will be valid for one day.
Other anniversary promotions include a seven-day 21GB SuperNet add-on at 21Mbps for MVR 21, and a three-month speed upgrade for existing SuperNet Unlimited customers who move to the next eligible plan.
Customers who spend at least MVR 400 using Mastercard on the Super App will enter a draw for return air tickets to Malaysia for two. Prepaid customers who recharge MVR 400 or more will also be eligible for draws offering return tickets to Dhaka, with winners selected every 10 days during August before quarterly draws continue over the following year.
Ooredoo also announced that its Fun Run will return to Hulhumalé on 11 December 2026. The company named Misriyya Ali as the winner of a Hajj trip for two, concluding its previous 20th-anniversary Live Unlimited campaign, which had awarded 19 Umrah pilgrimages.
