Ooredoo Maldives Celebrates Women in Science

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which was 11th February 2021, Ooredoo Maldives has highlighted a number of women who are saving lives at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19.

The women highlighted include Nubla Latheef, a DNA analyst who juggles forensic casework and COVID-19 testing, as well as Dr. Fathimath Hanaan Ali, a medical officer at IGMH.

Ooredoo also highlighted Dr. Raya Rasheed, a medical officer at the surgery department of IGMH, and Rasha Mohamed, an intern doctor and former rapid response team member. There is also Dr. Aishath Azna Ali, a consultant surgeon, Dhunya Mohamed, a senior registered nurse specializing in critical care, and Dr. Shiraany Abdul Rahman, a medical resident at IGMH.

Lastly, Ooredoo shone the spotlight on Dr. Fathmath Shudhfa Ibrahim, a radiology resident, along with Aminath Nada Shareef, a psychologist at Thibaa Psychology.
