Ooredoo Maldives Launches Autopay Feature on Mobile App

Ooredoo Maldives has introduced a new Autopay feature on the Ooredoo App, allowing customers to automate bill payments, recharges and add-on purchases.

The new feature enables customers to securely save a payment card and schedule automatic transactions according to their preferred date and time. Users can set up recurring payments for monthly bills, prepaid recharges and frequently used add-ons through the app.

According to Ooredoo Maldives, the feature is designed to simplify account management and reduce the need for customers to manually complete recurring transactions.

Customers can select from multiple Autopay options and manage or modify automated transactions directly through the Ooredoo App.

To activate the feature, customers must save their preferred payment card during a transaction, access the Autopay section via the “More” menu in the app, select the service they wish to automate and choose a preferred schedule.

The company said the launch forms part of its broader efforts to enhance the digital customer experience by providing more convenient and automated ways to manage telecommunications services.

Ooredoo Maldives added that the feature helps customers avoid missed payments and service interruptions by ensuring transactions are completed automatically according to their chosen schedule.
