Ooredoo Maldives Partners with Medianet as Coverage Title Partner for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Ooredoo Maldives has signed with Medianet as the Coverage Title Partner of Medianet’s Coverage for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This auspicious ceremony took place at Solite Restaurant yesterday.

On behalf of Ooredoo, CEO & MD Mr. Khalid Al-Hamadi and CCO Mr. Hussain Niyaz signed the agreement. Along with Medianet’s CEO & MD Mr. Ahmed Shafeeu and CCO Mr. Ahmed Nabah.

Medianet has also announced that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 would be broadcasted on Raajje TV and ICE Plus. Raajje TV & ICE Plus also signed the Partnership Agreement with Ooredoo.

Upon signing the agreement, Mr. Khalid shared a few words. “Football has always been a sport that holds a special place in the hearts of Maldivians. Ooredoo group also has a close relationship with the sport. Our aim for this years World Cup is to bring a grand and exciting experience for the supporters. To achieve this, we are pleased to partner with Medianet to bring FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to our customers who are spread all across the nation.”

A few words from Medianet COO Mr. Ahmed Nabah. “For the first time in history, we are proud to facilitate exclusivity to local Channels. FIFA World Cup 2022 will be broadcasted on Raajje TV & ICE Plus. We are very pleased to partner up with Ooredoo and to receive their support for this grand event.”

With exciting matches, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is scheduled to kick-off on 20th November 2022. Medianet has scheduled various programs, Fanzones and Road Shows for the supporters in-order to prepare for this Football Fiesta.
