Ooredoo to provide free access to NGO websites

One of the best telecommunication and digital service providers in the country, Ooredoo Maldives has announced the company’s plans to provide free access to local NGO websites.

The decision was announced at the Promoting Disability Inclusive Development (PDID) Forum which kick started on 24th June at Hotel Jen. Speaking at the forum, CEO of Ooredoo Maldives, Dr. Najib Khan stated “as we become increasingly digital and discover smart solutions to old and new problems, we must ensure that no one is left behind.” He also explained that Ooredoo wanted to assist the NGOs in making sure that the messages provided them are reached across a wider audience.

Najib Khan stated that Ooredoo will reveal a detailed plan in the near future of how the company plans on providing their assistance to NGOs in the most inclusive way possible.
