Maldives Immigration has stated that immigration visas and passport services will be available today despite October 2 being a public holiday.
Passport issuance services will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today, as confirmed by immigration officials.
Applicants can apply for these services by obtaining a queue number through QueueBee. Visa services will be accessible from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., according to immigration officials.
To simplify the passport application process for citizens, immigration authorities have introduced the option to apply for passports through Imuga. Given the high demand for this service, the operating hours have been extended until 9:00 p.m.
