Patina Maldives has announced the appointment of Adil Abdulla as the Landscaping Manager, and Ismail Naeem as the Front Office Manager.
Adil joins Patina Maldives with over 20 years of experience within the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Patina Maldives, Fari Islands, he held the position of Senior Landscaping Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Maldives. He also held senior landscaping positions in various other five-star properties including One and Only Reethi Rah and Conrad Maldives.
Adil’s past successful landscaping projects and experience has shaped him into an outstanding colleague with skills in Landscape Design and Management. Adil’s ability to manage daily operations, with strong communication and organizational skills, ensures that he will grow the best results for the resort.
Meanwhile, Ismail joined the hospitality industry at the age of 18 as a Housekeeping attendant at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru in 2006 as part of the pre-opening team. His initiative and intuition gave him the opportunity to become the Housekeeping Supervisor, which paved the way for him to meet and interact with guests more frequently. His dedication towards providing the best for his guests led him to move to the Front Office department.
Ismail joined Front Office as a Receptionist, setting the foundation for a new career that will bring the best out in him. His naturally positive attitude and friendly communication style were recognized by his managers and Ismail was given the opportunity to do cross-training at Four Seasons Mumbai, India. His hard work finally paid off, landing him the position of Front Office Manager position within 6 years.
Ismail creates a successful and productive working environment for colleagues and is empathetic to customers, delivering memorable experiences. His pleasant disposition and highly professional attitude ensure that his additional strengths will translate well to the Patina Culture.
