President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Uza. Fathimath Shirveen as the legal member of the Privatization and Corporatization Board on Monday.
The appointment was made in accordance with the authority granted to him by Section 4(c)(4) of Law No. 3/2013 (Privatization, corporatization, monitoring and evaluation of Government businesses).
Prior to her appointment, Uza. Fathimath Shirveen worked as the State Counsel of the Attorney General’s Office. She is also an executive member of the NGO, Family Legal Clinic.
Uza. Fathimath Shirveen obtained a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, England.
