President Leaves on a Tour of the South Miladhunmadulu Atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday morning left on a two-day visit to five islands in the South Miladhunmadulu Atoll. He is scheduled to make stops in Maafaru, Landhoo, Manadhoo, Magoodhoo, and Holhudhoo islands.

During the visit, President Solih would meet with members of the South Miladhunmadulu Atoll Council, local councils, women’s development committees, and residents of the respective islands. He would also visit several public offices and meet with the management and staff.

The President would also inaugurate the new mosque and harbour developed on Landhoo Island, the new powerhouse on Magoodhoo Island, and the newly developed football ground on Holhudhoo Island. He is accompanied on the visit by some members of his Cabinet and senior officials of the government.
