Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that work on the design and build of R. Maduvvari South Harbour is well underway, with overall 70% project progress.
According to MTCC, the installation of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of the quay wall is currently ongoing, with 79% completion.
The R. Maduvvari South Harbor development scheme consists of dredging 7,280cbm from channel, dredging 65,520cbm from harbor basin, breakwater construction of 411m, quay wall construction of 566m, revetment construction of 135m, installation of 2825 sqm paved area and installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
