Race kit collection for the Dhiraagu Malé Open 2026 open water swimming competition begins today at Dhiraagu Head Office, with registered participants able to collect their kits ahead of the event this weekend.
Participants can collect their race kits at the DMO Expo from August 18 to 20 between 5pm and 10pm. Each kit includes the official tournament T-shirt and swim cap.
Organised by Swim Maldives, the Dhiraagu Malé Open 2026 will take place on August 21 and 22 at Rasfannu, Malé. The competition will feature 1km, 500m and 250m open water races, alongside a new 500m Team Relay category.
The competition aims to promote open water swimming and greater participation in the sport while raising awareness of the importance of protecting the Maldives’ marine environment.
Dhiraagu said it continues to support initiatives promoting healthy lifestyles, community engagement and opportunities for people across the Maldives to participate in sports and recreational activities.
