Maldives Entrepreneurs’ Summit has been held on the night of 5th October. It brought together a community of well-known successful entrepreneurs whose actions are redefining the corporate bubble at the Corporate Maldives Business Expo at Dharubaaruge.
This year’s Maldives Entrepreneurs’ Summit focused on good leaders and good businesses, and surviving the uncertainty: challenges and opportunities for business in the fast-changing world.
Maldives Entrepreneurs’ Summit commenced with a speech by the keynote speaker Afeef Hussain, Senior Director – Maldives, Talent & Culture of LUX* Resorts and Hotels focusing on the topic of good leaders and good businesses. This was followed by a panel discussion for this topic. Panelists included Fathimath Nada Founder of Salon Maldives, Shifana Wajeeh, CEO of Heat Health & Fitness, and Ahmed Shaushaan Shafeeg, the chairman of MHC group.
The second keynote speaker Iyaz Waheed, General Manager, Statutory Compliances of Universal Enterprises Private Limited talked about surviving uncertainty: challenges and opportunities for business in the fast-changing world. The panelists were Zoona Naseem, Owner & Co-Founder of Moodhu Bulhaa Dive Center, Ismail Shareef, General Manager of Al Shaali Marine Maldives, Ibrahim Inaz, CEO of Jobsicle Maldives and Hussain Shihab, Founder of Eches Private Limited.
The summit offered a platform to discuss and understand the current opportunities and challenges faced by businesses, and creating capable leaders for the success of the companies in the Maldives and for the economic growth of the country.
