Runners Take Part in Allied Hulhumalé Run 2026

Allied Hulhumalé Run 2026 concluded yesterday with strong participation from runners, families and fitness enthusiasts, reflecting growing public interest in organised fitness events in the Maldives.

The run, organised by Elite Runners Maldives and held in Hulhumalé, featured four categories: the 1 Mile Family Run, 5KM Run, 10KM Run and the 21.1KM Half Marathon. The range of categories allowed participants from different age groups and fitness levels to take part, making the event both a competitive race and a wider community activity.

All registered runners were covered under Allied Insurance’s Complimentary Group Personal Accident Cover during the event period. The cover provided accidental protection of up to MVR 100,000, giving participants additional assurance while taking part in the run.

The event also recognised winners across the competitive race categories. In the men’s 21.1KM Half Marathon, Mohamed Shifaz took first place, followed by Yoosuf Ibrahim and Thitiwat Koosakul. In the women’s category, Petcharat Chlaadtoy placed first, followed by Aishath Jinanee Ibrahim and Aishath Rishmee.

In the 10KM Run, Hussain Fazeel won the men’s category, with Mohamed Irufan in second place and Sathaporn Akkatham in third. Kanlaya Sankaw won the women’s category, followed by Kamonwan Koednaimongkhon and Anan Ahmed Rasheed.

The 5KM men’s category was won by Aidh Abdulla Rifau, followed by Moosa Favaaz and Mohamed Faseel. In the women’s category, Clara Sarena Asif placed first, followed by Aishath Rishmy and Kiara Afrah Gasim.

The run ended with a closing ceremony, during which 10 lucky winners received MVR 2,000 each through a lucky draw.
