The prestigious South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has officially opened its nominations for the 2024 edition. Celebrated as South Asia’s leading platform for recognizing excellence in the tourism and hospitality sector, SATA has consistently honoured outstanding contributions since its establishment in 2016.
For 2024, SATA has introduced revamped categories, broadening the scope for properties and brands to demonstrate their achievements. In addition to existing awards, SATA will now feature Visitors Choice Awards and Special Recognition Awards.
SATA boasts endorsements from a multitude of international and government agencies within the travel industry, including the Association of Professionals in Tourism (APT), the Association of Tourism Trade Organizations, India (ATTOI), and the Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC), among others. SATA functions as more than just an awards ceremony; it provides a valuable platform for highlighting emerging trends and fosters networking opportunities for industry professionals within South Asia.
Aspiring properties have until April 10th, 2024, to submit their nominations online. Continuing its legacy of promoting innovation, SATA 2024 promises to be another significant contributor to the advancement of the travel and tourism industry within the region.
