Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that sheet piling for the construction of the quay wall of K. Dhoonidhoo Harbor Redevelopment and Reclamation Project is currently ongoing, with 85% project progress.
The K. Dhoonidhoo Harbour Redevelopment and Reclamation project consists of; dredging and excavation operations of 4.61acre; reclamation of 3.75 acre; construction of a 370m breakwater; a 620m revetment; a 250m quay wall; 250 m of paved area and installation of harbour lights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 51.4 million.
