SIMDI Group has continued its internship partnership with Care Society Maldives for a fourth consecutive year, providing students from the Care Development Centre with opportunities to gain workplace experience.
The initiative forms part of SIMDI Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities and is open to students enrolled in the Care Development Centre’s Readiness for Employment Program. Participants receive practical training, professional guidance and mentorship within a working environment.
As part of this year’s program, Fathimath Yadhya Rasheed will undertake an internship at SIMDI CPD, a division of SIMDI Group. Her placement will include training related to her assigned responsibilities and exposure to a professional retail environment.
The partnership was established to help students develop the skills, confidence and experience required to enter employment. Over the past four years, participating students have received placements across different areas of SIMDI Group.
Care Society Maldives was established in 1998 and works to advance the inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities through education, advocacy, training and skills development. Its Care Development Centre provides tailored programs, including employment readiness training.
Founded in 2000, SIMDI Group operates across Consumer Products, Beverages, Hospitality, Technology, and Services.
