SriLankan Airlines to Resume Operations from Colombo to Gan in December

SriLankan Airlines has announced its plan to resume direct flight operations from Colombo to Addu City starting from December.

Direct flights are scheduled to resume between Colombo and Gan starting from 4th December. According to Ace Aviation Services, SriLankan Airlines’ General Sales Agent in the Maldives, flights will be scheduled once per week on Saturdays.

SriLankan Airlines has been operating direct flights to Gan since December 2016. However, the operations were ceased due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Earlier in August, SriLankan Airlines operated chartered flights between Colombo and Gan.

As per Ace Aviation Services, flight tickets for return tickets will be charged USD 271 for Maldivians; meanwhile, tourists will be charged USD 284. These flights are scheduled to depart from Colombo at 10:40 every Saturday morning and land at Gan at 12:05 in the afternoon.
