The State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has conducted its Leadership Enhancement Training Program at the Girifushi Training Center with Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), catering to STELCO employees.
The initiative’s primary objective is to elevate service standards, fortify the company’s workforce, instil work ethos among employees, and rejuvenate the commitment to service delivery.
Hussain Fahmy, the Managing Director of STELCO, highlighted the significance of this program in enhancing service quality and empowering employees.
He underscored that since assuming his role, a key directive from President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has been to elevate service standards and enhance employee capabilities. Central to this directive is the ethos of serving the public with warmth and empathy, aligning with the aspirations of the populace.
Expressing satisfaction with the program’s outcomes, Fahmy noted that 120 employees have successfully completed their training to date. He extended gratitude to the MNDF for their collaboration and support in facilitating the program’s implementation.
